During this phase, learners develop essential skills such as reading, writing, numeracy, communication, problem-solving and basic social skills. We use age-appropriate activities, play, stories, songs, practical tasks and classroom interaction to make learning engaging and meaningful.

Foundation Phase education also focuses on the holistic development of children. This includes their intellectual, emotional, social, physical and creative development. A supportive and stimulating learning environment helps children develop confidence, independence, positive relationships and a love for self growth and learning.
